Jeffrey S. Lynch, Attorney at The Lynch Law Firm, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in civil litigation.
A gifted high school athlete, Mr. Lynch attended the University of Notre Dame in Indiana on an athletic scholarship for baseball. In his search for what profession to pursue, he discovered the legal industry was on the same level as competitive athletics, as a lawyer always wants to be on the winning side within the bounds of the law. Mr. Lynch received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame in 1971 and went on to achieve a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 1975. Admitted to practice in Texas, in 1980, the Texas Board of Legal Specialization certified him in civil trial and personal injury trial law. Additionally, he is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, U.S. Court of Claims, U.S. Tax Court, U.S Supreme Court, U.S. District Courts for the Easton and Western Districts of Arkansas and all U.S. District Courts for Texas.
Since 1992, Mr. Lynch has served as owner and trial attorney of The Lynch Law Firm in Dallas, where he specializes in civil litigation. Prior to spearheading his firm, he was a partner at Gardere & Wynne from 1988 to 1992 and an associate and partner at Vial, Hamilton, Koch & Knox from 1975 to 1988. He commenced his career as an associate with Maloney, Milner & McDowell in 1975. Likewise to his primary roles, Mr. Lynch served the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law as an adjunct professor and trial advocacy practitioner from 1985 to 1995, as well as legal writing instructor from 1975 to 1977. He also served as a member of the legal assistant advisory committee at El Centro Community College.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Lynch has handled significant litigation matters in jury trials throughout the states of Texas, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Louisiana and New Mexico. He is renowned for his ability to solve complex problems, explain the issue in a simple manner and persuade jurors to line up with his perspective. Mr. Lynch finds the most rewarding aspect of his work to be his contribution to handling large cases and gaining a wide breath of knowledge in a number of industry areas. He adds his career has led him to meet many important diverse people that has aided him in mastering his craft. Notably, he was named to Outstanding Young Men of American in 1979. Mr. Lynch’s grandfather was a lawyer in Chicago, Illinois and his father, Walter F Lynch, Jr., was also listed in Marquis Who’s Who.
A fellow of the Texas Board Legal Specialization and Texas Bar Foundation, Mr. Lynch is also an associate with the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a former member of the Dallas Bar Association of Young Lawyers, having served as treasurer, grievance committee member and board member. Additionally, he was chairman of the board of deacons for Casa Linda Presbyterian Church in 1984 and election inspector of the Texas General Election in 1982. Civically, Mr. Lynch was a 1998 member of the Addison Rotary Club, in which he helped raise upwards of $250,000 for a pediatric center and a party featuring country singer LeAnn Rimes. To attest to his legacy, Mr. Lynch can also be found in the 58th edition of Who’s Who in America and the fourth through sixth and 12th editions of Who’s Who in American Law.
