Darleen M. Jacobs, Lawyer, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
Backed by a Bachelor of Arts in pre-law business from Louisiana State University, Ms. Jacobs earned a Juris Doctor from Loyola University in 1970. Later, in 1981, she acquired a Master’s in Admiralty Law Degree from the Tulane University School of Law. By 1986, she was certified to practice law in the states of New York and Louisiana. Ms. Jacobs has spent the majority of her career working in private practice. Since 1970, she has specialized in personal injury, general negligence, medical malpractice, class action, and maritime lawsuits.
An active member of her industry, Ms. Jacobs maintains affiliation with a multitude of professional organizations. These include the Louisiana State Bar Association, the National Board of Trial Advocacy, the New York State Bar Association, and the New Orleans Bar Association, among others. As a testament to her success, she was named as a Super Lawyer of Louisiana in 2014. Earlier, Ms. Jacobs was recognized by the American Trial Lawyers Association in their national publication as the “Master of the Month.” Further, she is listed in the 11th edition of Who’s Who in American Law.
