Growing up, Mr. Howard came to believe that the highest human value is freedom, and he learned that the way to secure freedom is through justice. When it came time to pursue a formal education, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California. He proceeded to attend the California Western School of Law, acquiring a Juris Doctor in 1976. In the years that followed, he completed postgraduate coursework at the San Diego Inn of Court and the Hastings College of Law at the University of California. In 1978, he was certified to practice law in the state of California.
Mr. Howard began his career as an associate under Robert T. Dierdorff in 1978. In the years that followed, he gained experience with Howard & Neeb, John W. Howard and Associates, and Ace Parking, Inc. In 1993, he began working for the Individual Rights Foundation, Inc., remaining there until 1995. Since then, Mr. Howard has excelled as the president of JW Howard/Attorneys alongside his role as president of the Institute for Constitutions Rights, Inc.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Howard has tried over 100 cases to conclusion. He additionally prepared a comprehensive study of constitutional law related to the ownership and management of public lands for the legislature of the state of Utah. An active member of his field, Mr. Howard maintains affiliation with the American Bar Association, the California State Bar Association, and the California Western School of Law Alumni Association, among others. As a testament to his success, he is featured in multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the West, and Who’s Who in the World.
