Prior to the inception of his career in law, Mr. Sloan worked as an engineer while attending the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1968. Soon realizing that he did not enjoy engineering, he sought guidance from a counselor about which new direction to head. Mr. Sloan then took the battery test, which proved that he was more suited to the legal industry. Upon taking the LSAT and passing with flying colors, Mr. Sloan attended and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1971. Four years later, he secured a Master of Laws from Harvard University.

Since 1996, Mr. Sloan has excelled as an attorney and partner with Fuller Sloan, LLC. The goal of his firm is to offer exceptional service in representing clients, including potential business owners, which need assistance in trust and real estate matters. Prior to this appointment, he contributed as a partner with CKR Law LLP from 2014 to 2019. He had also worked as an associate and partner at Hyatt & Rhoads, P.C. from 1975 to 1989, having previously served as an attorney with Southwire Co. between 1971 and 1974. In addition to his primary endeavors, Mr. Sloan has taught legal research at the University of Georgia, Athens, as well as music law at Georgia State University.

In a career filled with highlights, Mr. Sloan is most proud of representing the founder of Apple at the time when he sold his company. Mr. Sloan describes his career trajectory has been an interesting journey and he is honored to still conduct impeccable legal work for his clients. For his accomplishments in the field, he has been featured in the 1981 edition of Outstanding Young Men of America. In five years’ time, Mr. Sloan hopes to retire from his law practice.
