William Ulrich, Jr., a Retired Attorney has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in arbitration.

Growing up, Mr. Ulrich always had a passion to practice law. Partially inspired to become an attorney by his grandfather, he decided to attend law school after graduating with an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Robert Morris College. He secured a Doctor of Jurisprudence from DePaul University, College of Law. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Northern Illinois University. Mr. Ulrich was later admitted to practice with The Supreme court of Illinois, the United States District Court Trial Bar, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Most recently, Mr. Ulrich excelled as a partner and director of Mulherin, Rehfeldt & Varchetto, P.C. in Wheaton, Illinois, from 1999 until 2017. Prior to this appointment, he worked as a student mentor for the Department of Excellence at Elmhurst College for 18 years, having previously contributed as a capital partner with Hinshaw & Culbertson, Lisle from 1989 to 1999. In the past, he was a partner of Guerard, Kalina, Musial, Ulrich & Varchetto, and served as the regional in-house counsel for the Real Estate Legal Department of the McDonald’s Corp.

In addition to his primary endeavors, Mr. Ulrich taught business law at North Central College and criminal justice at the College of DuPage. As a testament to his career, Mr. Ulrich has been the recipient of a Distinguished Rating in Legal Ability & Ethical Standards from Martindale Hubbell. To remain aware of changes in the field, he maintains affiliation with the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the DuPage County Bar Association.
