A partner of Ajalat & Ajalat LLP in North Hollywood since 1993, Mr. Ajalat is distinguished for his expertise in the legal industry. Specializing in bodily injury due to accident and medical malpractice, Mr. Ajalat is also renowned for handling vaccination injuries in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Additionally, he handles complex transactional activities as well as civil litigation related to disputes involving business, corporate, commercial, employment, real estate, health and entertainment matters. Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Ajalat was a referee for the California State Bar Court from 1984 to 1990, a sole practitioner for nearly 30 years and an attorney in civil litigation with Millikan and Montgomery, LLP in 1964 and 1965. He commenced his career as a personal legal assistant to the Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California from 1962 to 1964. Mr. Ajalat had also spent time as an instructor in medical care with the U.S. Army Medical Corps at Fort Sam Houston Brooke Army Medical Center from 1955 to 1957.
Mr. Ajalat achieved a Bachelor of Science in public health administration in 1958 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1962, both from the University of California, Los Angeles. Admitted to the California Bar in 1963, he is also permitted to practice with the California Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Federal Claims, Federal Circuit Appellate Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Districts of California. Notably, Mr. Ajalat is the founder of the Arab American Lawyers Association and holds membership with multiple reputable organizations in his field. Most recently, in 2013, he was the recipient of a Certificate for 50 Years of Service to the California Supreme Court and State Bar, among various other accolades. To attest to his legacy, Mr. Ajalat can also be found in numerous editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the West and Who’s Who in the World.
