Imran Khan, Esq., Owner at ARK Attorneys at Law, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in real estate law.
From watching his parents excel as real estate brokers, Mr. Khan became involved in volunteer work with multiple real estate franchises and was able to monitor and shadow important mentors and developers. Seeing a bright future ahead for himself surrounding these passions and interests, Mr. Khan obtained an LLM in real estate law, as well as a JD from the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan in 2011. Since 2012, he has notably served as the owner of ARK Attorneys at Law in Chicago where he oversees teams of five and three, respectively, specializing in the areas of acquisitions, home sales and foreclosures, licensing and contracts, lease development, real estate development, and title transfers. Notably, Mr. Khan has represented more than 2,000 residential real estate transactions throughout the Chicagoland area, closing over $500 million dollars’ worth of real estate.
An accomplished professional, Mr. Khan became one of the youngest owners of a settlement service company when he established Atlas Title & Escrow. He always had a passion for ancillary business to the legal practice, but not many professionals are able to create it, and so he was able to leverage amazing connections to learn how to do it himself for his business. To match his bold professional stamina, Mr. Khan ranked among the top 10 title insurance producers in Illinois and holds membership with Gobundance. Looking toward the future, Mr. Khan hopes to expand his business into other states, such as California and Florida, and to become a leading innovator in electronic closings. In his spare time, he plans to develop schools and hospitals in conjunction with non-profit organizations on his grandmother’s land in his native Bangladesh.
