Having accrued more than 50 years of inimitable experience in law, Mr. Renwick currently serves as a partner of Hanna and Morton LLP in Los Angeles, California. Specializing in oil, gas and natural resources law, his energy experience extends to geothermal resources as well as alternative and renewable energy issues. Mr. Renwick is a graduate of Stanford University, having obtained a Bachelor of Arts in pre-legal curriculum in 1956 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1958. Since completing his education, he is permitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of the United States, the State Bar of California, the U.S. District Courts of the Eastern, Northern, Southern and Central Districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals Ninth Circuit. Additionally, Mr. Renwick is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and American Bar Foundation, and participates on the board of directors for the California Supreme Court Historical Society and the advisory board for the Stanford University Law School.

Mr. Renwick currently holds membership with the American Bar Association’s legal committee and interstate oil compact committee as well as Phi Delta Pi. With the American Bar Association, he was active as a section representative and coordinator for Group Energy Law from 1995 to 1997, a member-at-large and coordinator of Group Energy Law from 1989 to 1992 and the chairman of the Section on National Resources, Energy and Environmental Law from 1987 to 1988. Mr. Renwick had also notably served as the president of the Chancery Club from 1992 to 1993, a trustee of the California Arboretum Association from 1986 to 1992 and the chairman of the Natural Resources Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association from 1974 to 1975.
