Nancy G. Easum, Lawyer at Easum Law Office, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in legal services.
At the age of 16, Ms. Easum began working at a law office after school. At the time, the state of Illinois was making a lot of changes to their traffic and drunk driving laws, which she found to be quite interesting. When it came time to choose a career, Ms. Easum decided to continue pursuing legal work. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University in 1978, which was followed up by a Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University in 1981. That same year, she was certified to practice law in that state of Illinois. Later, in 2002, she was additionally certified by the United States Supreme Court.
From 1983 until 1999, Ms. Easum worked as the deputy general counsel for the Illinois Secretary of State. In 1999, she relocated to work for the Illinois State Police. There, she held the title of special counsel to the director, as well as the section supervisor of the alcohol and substance testing section. In 2017, she opened the Easum Law Office. She remains there today, continuing to help others with their legal trouble and managing the business as a whole. In light of her myriad accomplishments, Ms. Easum is featured in the 56th and 57th editions of Who’s Who in America, as well as the 11th edition of Who’s Who in American Law and the 21st edition of Who’s Who of American Women.
