Andrew Ackley, Attorney at Stritmatter Kessler Koehler Moore, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in accidents, wrongful death and consumer protection act and business misconduct.

Mr. Ackley became involved in his profession because he liked the justice system and felt it was essential for so many reasons. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Oregon in 2006. Continuing with his education, he received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Washington School of Law in 2009. Aside from law, Mr. Ackley has a professional certification as a PADI Scuba Dive Master.

The highlight of Mr. Ackley’s career was a case in which he and his colleagues represented 48 victims of a crash. It was an unusual trial because it was a class-action suit. It resulted in an unprecedented $123 million verdict with $10 million in a settlement on top of that. It was a record-setting verdict and was one of the top verdicts in 2018. The TBN Network, which screens and records trials all over the country, listed it as their “second most incredible trial in 2019” and it was the first jury trial listed. There were two awards in association with that case, the Top 10 Most Impressive Plaintiff Verdicts by CVN in 2019 and the Top 20 Jury Verdicts in the United States in 2018. Mr. Ackley started out his career as an associate attorney for Osborn Machler, PLLC in 2009, remaining until 2011. From 2011 to 2015, he was a managing member of the Ackley Law Group PLLC. He then became a member of the board of directors of the Yellow Wood Academy from 2015 to 2019 and chair of the board of directors from 2017 to 2019. Since 2015, he has held the position of attorney for Stitmatter Kessler Koehler Moore. As a testament to his success, Mr. Ackley has also been named to Rising Stars by the Washington Super Lawyers from 2013 to 2019 and was a nominee for the C.Z. Smith Public Service Award, given by the University of Washington School of Law in 2009.
