Mr. Feuer is recognized as a lawyer with more than 34 years of experience representing children in custody cases. His areas of practice have also included social security disability, workers’ compensation, estates, real estate property and landlord-tenant law. A bright and talkative child, he decided early in his life that he wanted to pursue a career in the law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1981 and interned in the New York State Assembly while attending college. He is also a graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law. Mr. Feuer was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1985.
From 1983 to 1984, Mr. Feuer worked as a legal assistant at the firm of Bushnell, Caplan, Fielding & Rudy in San Francisco. He subsequently served as a legal assistant in the Law Offices of Philip J. Devine in Oneonta, New York, from 1984 to 1985, at which point he became an associate of the Law Office of Stephen P. Joyce in Sherburne, New York. He established his private legal practice in Oneonta in 1987, which he successfully operates to this day. Mr. Feuer is the current director of Temple Beth El of Oneonta, having previously served as vice president and president. He has also been the chairman of Temple Beth El Oneonta Cemetery. He is a member and former president of the Otego County Bar and the Oneonta Rotary Fund Inc., and enjoys spending time with his wife, golfing and archery in his spare time.
