Having a strong desire to save children and resolve family situations, Mr. Adams has been a shareholder at KoonsFuller Family Law in Dallas since 2014, previously serving in the same role at Quilling, Selander, Lownds, Winslett & Moser from 2011 to 2014. He began his law career as an associate attorney at Graham, Bright & Smith in 1981, remaining in this position for five years before becoming an attorney at Adams & Sherwood from 1987 to 1988. Mr. Adams then started a private practice, the Law Offices of Frederick S. Adams Jr., which he maintained from 1989 to 2011.
Mr. Adams pursued a formal education at the University of Texas at Austin, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1978. He then attained a JD from the Baylor Law School in 1981. Since graduating, he has been admitted to practice in numerous state and federal courts, and is a certified mediator and family law arbitrator. He was also board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. A well-known writer and presenter in his field, Mr. Adams maintains involvement with the family law section of the American Bar Association since 1981 and the College of the State Bar of Texas since 1996, among others. The recipient of myriad honors and accolades, he is also a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
