D. Douglas Grubbs, Attorney at Grubbs Law Firm, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in personal injury and mass torts.
Scoring high in law on an aptitude test as a student at the Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, Mr. Grubbs has since excelled as an attorney at his own firm, Grubbs Law Firm, in Houston, practicing in mass torts since 2004. Prior to this role, he pursued a formal education at the Ohio State University in Columbus, earning an Associate of Science in 1999. He continued his studies at Texas A&M University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in 2002. He subsequently graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the South Texas College of Law in 2008, where he also recognized as the Dean’s Honor List. Since graduating with these academic honors, Mr. Grubbs was admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Texas in 2009 and the Southern District of Texas in 2019.
Mr. Grubbs maintains his involvement with several organizations related to his field, including the American Association for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Jesuit Legal Society. Additionally, he serves as the director of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. In light of his accomplishments, he was honored among the National Trial Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40 in 2016 and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and was presented with an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell in 2017. Furthermore, Mr. Grubbs has also been recognized among the Super Lawyers since 2013.
