Robert S. Price, Esq., former special consultant with Saul, Ewing, Remick, and Saul, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements and leadership in tax law.
With 40 years of professional experience, Mr. Price was a special consultant with Saul, Ewing, Remick and Saul from 1994 to 2001, having been a partner with the firm since 1986. Prior to obtaining these roles, he was a partner with Pepper, Hamilton and Scheetz from 1977 to 1986 and with Townsend, Elliot and Munson from 1972 to 1976. From 1970 to 1972, he was tax counsel with IU International and, from 1967 to 1970, he was a tax attorney for the Pennsylvania Central Transportation Company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Price was an assistant tax attorney with Smith, Kline and French from 1963 to 1967 and an associate with Dechert, Price, and Rhodes from 1961 to 1963.
Mr. Price first pursued an education at Kenyon College, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 1958. He continued his studies at Yale University, earning a Bachelor of Laws in 1961. He then joined the U.S. Army, serving until 1962. Mr. Price has been admitted to practice in the States of Pennsylvania and New York, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
A respected voice in his areas of interest, Mr. Price has been affiliated with a number of professional organizations. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association. He has also been active with the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the New York Bar Association, the Racquet Club of Philadelphia and Alpha Delta Phi. Mr. Price is the former president of the Samuel Eells Literature and Educational Foundation.
Throughout his career, Mr. Price has been recognized for his achievements. He has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in the East.
