John R. Jensen, attorney at Jensen and Jensen, APC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements and leadership in law.
With more than 45 years of professional experience, Mr. Jensen has been in sole practice with Jensen and Jensen since 1984. Prior to establishing this firm, he was an associate with McConnell and Associates in 1977 and the vice president of Capital Consultants from 1973 to 1974. Earlier in his career, Mr. Jensen was an insurance director with Groesbeck Financial from 1971 to 1973. In addition to his primary roles, he is the author of “Checklist for Texas Lawyers.”
Mr. Jensen began his career in the U.S. Army, serving from 1966 to 1972. He simultaneously pursued an education with San Fernando Valley State College, now California State University, Northridge, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in 1971. He continued his studies with Baylor University, earning a JD in 1976. Mr. Jensen has been admitted to practice in the State of Texas, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
A respected voice in his community, Mr. Jensen has been affiliated with a number of professional organizations. He is a member of the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and the Baylor Order of Barristers. Mr. Jensen has also been active with the Arlington Bar Association, Delta Theta Phi, the Single Action Shooter Society and the Long Frontier Club.
Throughout his career, Mr. Jensen has been recognized for his contributions, including having received the Army Commendation Medal. He has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in the World.
