A graduate of California State University, Northridge, Mr. Goldman earned a Bachelor of Sciences in business administration and accounting in 1973. While attending California State University, Northridge, he enjoyed the few business law courses and developed an interest in working in the legal field to some capacity. Moreover, he received a JD from the San Fernando Valley College of Law, now part of the University of West Los Angeles in 1976 and was further admitted to practice law in the state of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Tax Court, and United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Certified as a specialist in family law, Mr. Goldman began his career as a sole practitioner with the Law Offices of Laurence R. Goldman between 1978 and 1985. After briefly working with the Law Offices of Marvin Mitchelson, he assumed employment with Freid & Goldman as a partner from 1985 to 1993. Moreover, he went on to open several private practices throughout the Los Angeles area between 1994 and 2004. Subsequently, Mr. Goldman resumed his position as partner with a Fried & Goldman APLC from 2004 to 2017, further serving as senior counsel with Einstein, Pham & Glass for a year until 2018.

In addition to his primary endeavor, Mr. Goldman served on several local boards including the West Hills Hospital and Medical Center, Valley Economic Alliance, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce, among others. Recognized by the Thompson Reuter’s Super Lawyers for 15 years, he has continuously received the esteemed AV preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 1995. For his dedicated service, Goldman was presented the President’s Award by the Beverly Hills Bar Association in 2000. In five years, Mr. Goldman plans to spend more time with his family and grandchildren, who currently reside in Zurich, Switzerland.
