With more than 40 years of professional experience, Ms. Lajoie has been of counsel with Snell and Wilmer, LLP, since 2019, having been vice president and general counsel with CoBiz Financial, Inc., since 2009 and holding a sole practice with Judith E. Lajoie, PC, since 2007. Prior to obtaining these roles, she was vice president of law and deputy to the general counsel of MDC Holdings/Richmond American Homes from 2002 to 2007, of counsel with Senn Visciano and Kirschenbaum, PC, from 2001 to 2002, and assistant vice president and associate counsel of the investment division with Great West Life and Annuity Insurance Company from 1991 to 2001.
From 1984 to 1991, Ms. Lajoie was a partner with Sherman and Howard, and from 1982 to 1984 she was an associate of real estate and banking with Brownstein Hyatt Farber. She was previously a staff attorney with the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit in 1981 and a judicial clerk for the appellate division of the New York State Supreme Court. Earlier in her career, she was a law clerk with Richard T. Gallen and Company from 1978 to 1979. She holds a Bachelor of Science in child psychology from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor from the Yeshiva University Cardozo School of Law.
