With more than 40 years of legal experience, Mr. Fiedler has garnered a lauded reputation as a partner in Fiedler Deutsch LLP since 2019. Through this firm, his duties include Prior to this prestigious appointment, he served as the owner and an attorney of the Law Offices of Duane M. Fiedler from 1983 to 2019. Earlier in his career, he worked as a defense attorney in medical malpractice in 1978.
Inspired by his father, Norman D. Fiedler, who was also an attorney, Mr. Fielder also received encouragement from two of his law professors at Syracuse University. He prides himself on his ability to give his clients the confidence that their cases are very important to him, and that he will respond to their concerns.
A graduate of Syracuse University, Mr. Fiedler earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1975. Moreover, he concluded his academic efforts with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from California Western School of Law in 1978. Mr. Fiedler was later admitted to practice law in New York in 1979 as well as before the U.S. District Courts of the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
Recognized as an successful attorney, Mr. Fiedler was featured on Court TV and in interviews conducted by 60 Minutes. The recipient of a Top 100 Trial Lawyer honor by the American Association of Trial Lawyers, he was also selected as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and was named among the Best Lawyers of America. To remain aware of changes in the field, he maintains professional memberships with several organizations including the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Looking to the future, Mr. Fiedler has no plans to retire, as he considers his work far too important and enjoyable.
