Inspired by her father who was a respectable lawyer in the community and her sister, who worked as an environmentalist, Ms. Tuch decided to combine both interests together and pursue a career in the two. She earned a Bachelor of Science in geography from the University of Cincinnati in 1983 and later secured a Master of Environmental Science. Upon receiving a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Toledo in 1989, she was admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Ms. Tuch began her career as an attorney for Goldsmith and Goldsmith from 1989 to 2002, before leaving to start her own practice in 2002. In addition to serving as an attorney with Gayle Goldsmith Tuch, P.C., she also excels as an attorney and mediator for Goldsmith Tuch Law. With her private practice, Ms. Tuch primarily focuses on providing support to clients with an array of environmental law issues.
To remain aware of changes in the field, she maintains affiliation with the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Forsyth Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association, and the Temple Emanuel Environmental Movement. She also earned a Master of Laws in environmental law, with summa cum laude honors, from Vermont Law School in 2015. In light of her exceptional undertakings, she has been the recipient of numerous accolades including the Outstanding Women in Business Award from the Triad Business Journal, the Legacy Award from Yadkin Riverkeeper Inc., and the Conservation Award from the Daughters of the American Revolution.
