Jeffrey Miller, Partner at Miller Weber Kory LLP, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in trial law.

Mr. Miller wanted to be a lawyer since high school and is glad he is able to help people in a complicated court system. He wanted to do trial work because he liked the energy of it and the drama of courtroom practice. In preparation for his career, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in the comparative study of religion from Harvard University and graduated magna cum laude in 1980. He was a Rotary Fellow at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch Central City, New Zealand, in 1980 and then earned a JD from New York University School of Law in 1984. Mr. Miller is a certified specialist in personal injury as well as wrongful death litigation and was admitted to the Arizona State bar. Presently, Mr. Miller is a partner at Miller Weber Kory LLP, a role he has held since 2011, and plans to remain with the firm as well as branch our and do medication work. In addition to his main pursuit, he has taught as an assistant professor of practice within the Department of Family, Community and Preventative Medicine at The University of Arizona since 2014.

Prior to his current occupation, Mr. Miller worked as a partner for both Roush, McCracken, Guerrero, Miller & Ortega from 1997 to 2010 and Jones, Skelton & Hochuli from 1984 to 1996. He is a recognized instructor of trucking negligence on which he presented an annual seminar, and he holds memberships with both the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and the nursing home litigation section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Miller has a reputation for honesty, especially with the opposing counsel, as he has a direct approach and the other side knows that he is always willing to take a case to trial. The willingness to take a case to trial is something that not every lawyer who does personal injury or elder care is willing to do, but his motivation to do so is because he feels that makes a difference in the lives of his clients.
