Mr. Anand prepared for his career at Purdue University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 2007. He served as a judicial extern for Judge Theodor C. Albert in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California in 2010, and continued his academic pursuits at the Chapman University School of Law, earning a JD in 2011. Mr. Anand was admitted to practice law by the Illinois State Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and started as a law clerk at the Lal Law Firm in 2012. From 2013 to 2014, he served as an associate attorney at a law firm based in Chicago, and since 2014, he has worked as the managing attorney of his own private practice.
In 2016, Mr. Anand started as a broker at Prospect Equities, and in 2019, he graduated from the Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology with an LLM in taxation. While pursuing his degree, he cites his professors at the Chicago-Kent College of Law as mentors in his career and is grateful for the wealth of support and growth he enjoyed at the institution. Mr. Anand was recognized in 2018 and 2019 for his professional excellence when he was named as one of the 10 Best Attorneys for Client Satisfaction in Real Estate Law by the American Institute of Legal Counsel. In five years, he plans to continue to advocate for others through his legal practice and hopes to be a member of a larger legal firm.
