Alex Kaufman, Partner at Kaufman & Forman P.C., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in corporate, employment, and domestic law.
With his father an attorney before him, Mr. Kaufman knew from an early age that he, too, would enter the field of law. He serves as a partner at Kaufman & Forman, P.C., and is eligible to practice in the states of Georgia, Massachusetts, New York, Arizona, and the, District of Columbia. Mr. Kaufman has previously served in the office of the executive counsel for Governor Sonny Perdue, was a Cobb County District Attorney’s Office Appellate and Trial Division per 3rd Year Practice Act, and served within the office of the chief of protocol for the Diplomatic Affairs Division within the U.S. Department of State. Furthermore, Mr. Kaufman has practiced in the Fulton County Superior Court under Judge Craig L. Schwall and has been on the subcommittee on crime, terrorism, and homeland security within the committee on the judiciary.
In preparation for this career in the field of law, Mr. Kaufman earned a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, in 2006 and a JD from the Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia in 2009. He attributes his success to being a people person, and he always remembers that his profession is ultimately about helping others. Mr. Kaufman enjoys practicing law and plans on one day running for the state legislature. He hopes to win and be on the house judiciary committee as well as continue to practice law. As a testament to his success, Mr. Kaufman is Martindale-Hubbell AV-Preeminent Rated, was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2013 to 2016, and was a delegate for the State of Georgia’s Republican Convention.
