Paul Feng has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in litigation and education.
Dr. Feng became involved in his profession due to his original work in China with scientific education. When he relocated to the United States, he continued studying and was offered different opportunities and found his way to the legal system. Dr. Feng has remained dedicated to the same private practice since 1986 and served as counsel at Lamet Kanwit and Davis from 1990 to 2000. In the academic sphere, he has provided his insight and expertise to several institutions. These include Marquette University, Tsinghua University, the Illinois Institute of Technology and the National Taiwan University. He began his career as a teacher in 1945, teaching at Wen-Hua High School in Beijing. In addition, Dr. Feng is a certified public accountant through the University of Illinois.
In his own academic pursuits, Dr. Feng first earned a Bachelor of Science from Fu-Jen Catholic University in 1947. He then served in a year-long graduate fellowship fellowship at National Beijing University. Upon relocating to the United States, he earned a PhD from Washington University in 1954, a JD from DePaul University in 1986 and an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1991. His career achievements include a patent for the method of making fluorinated compounds and a patent for a hot-atom cation defixation method for the production of high specific activity isotopes. He also considers helping serve people in different ways as a highlight of his career. In recognition of his work, he has received an Achievement Award from the National Youth Commission of Taiwan, a research grant from the United States Air Force and the United States Atomic Energy Commission. He has been a member of the Phoenix Society, the American Chemical Society, the Overture Society, the Elliot Society and Sigma Xi.
