Brian Goldstein, Managing Attorney at Cellino & Barnes, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in medical malpractice and mass tort litigation.

Initially, Dr. Goldstein was a physician, however, he always had an interest in both medicine and law. In preparation for his medical career, he earned a Doctor of Medicine from the Santo Domingo Institute of Technology in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 1980. Soon thereafter, he became a physician at the New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, in 1981. After his departure from the hospital in 1986, he traveled overseas to Jerusalem and later Cape Town, South Africa, and worked as a physician between 1988 and 1992. Upon returning to the United States, he decided to attend the State University of New York, Buffalo and secured a Doctor of Jurisprudence with magna cum laude honors in 1995. The following year, Dr. Goldstein was admitted to practice law in the state of New York.

As an attorney, Dr. Goldstein worked with Michael Doran & Associates in Buffalo, New York, from 1996 to 2002, where he focused on medical products and pharmaceutical litigation. Furthermore, he currently serves as the managing attorney of mass torts and medical malpractice with Cellino & Barnes. In addition to New York State, he has been admitted to the practice before the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western District of New York, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York, the United States Supreme Court, as well as the Northern District of Ohio, the Eastern and Western District of Michigan, and the United States Court of Federal Claims.

Dr. Goldstein has had many highlights, both in law and medicine, however, the one aspect of his career that he is most proud of is his trial verdict for injured people. The factors or attributes that Dr. Goldstein feel have played a role in his success is having a dual education because each discrete education provided a huge background, so he is able to draw from both. Civically, Dr. Goldstein has devoted his time as a member of the board of trustees for the Temple Sinai in Buffalo, New York, for six years. A respected voice in the industry, he has contributed to a number of professional publications. For his accomplishments in the field, Dr. Goldstein has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in 2008, Best Lawyers in New York 2009-2010, and Super Lawyers 2018, among others.
