Bernard Reverdin, Lawyer, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the legal profession.
Mr. Reverdin was raised in Switzerland, and as a young man, he attended the University of Geneva, where he earned a Bachelor of Laws in 1942. He was admitted to practice law by the Swiss bar in 1945, and worked as an attorney and legal assistant for the Geneva Government until 1948. He came to the United States, studied as a postgraduate at Harvard Law School in 1949, and worked as a foreign attorney for Sullivan & Cromwell until 1951. He started as an associate at Lovejoy, Wasson & Ashton before becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1954. In 1955, Mr. Reverdin was admitted to practice law in the state of New York, and he remained with Lovejoy, Wasson & Ashton, rising to the rank of partner before his departure in 1984.
In 1984, Mr. Reverdin started at Hunton & Williams, where he served as a partner before transitioning to Eaton & Van Winkle in 1988. He worked as a partner until 1998, when he rose to the rank of Senior Counsel International, a position he held until 2009. In addition to his work at Eaton & Van Winkle, he also worked in private practice, served as a lecturer in his field, and contributed articles to a variety of professional journals. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the American Foreign Law Association. As a testament to his success, stature, and experience as a legal professional, Mr. Reverdin has been featured in multiple editions of Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in the East, Who’s Who in American Law, and Who’s Who in America.
