She then earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Houston, from which she graduated summa cum laude in 1996, and obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Duke University School of Law in 1999. Board-certified in estate planning and probate and a certified guardian ad litem, she has been admitted to practice law by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and by the State Bar of Texas.

Embarking on her career out of law school, Ms. Orsak was selected as a briefing attorney for Justice Kem T. Frost of the 14th Court of Appeals. She later excelled as a staff attorney for Harris County Probate Court Number Three from 2000 to 2002. Ms. Orsak entered private practice with Ware, Snow, Fogel & Jackson from 2002 to 2004 and when the firm split, went with Ware, Jackson, Lee & Chambers. In 2006, Ms. Orsak moved to Victoria, Texas, and joined Anderson, Smith, Null & Stofer where she practiced until 2010. In 2011, Ms. Orsak opened her own firm, the Law Office of Pamela D. Orsak, where she continues to practice.

Moreover, Ms. Orsak is an accomplished speaker in the field and has given a number of presentations to other attorneys, accountants, and financial advisors, as well as her community, including, “Transfer Techniques for Real Estate that Can Avoid Probate: Old Foundations, New Foundations or Wrecking Balls,” “Use and Abuse of Show Cause Motions in Probate Proceedings,” “Administering the Estate,” “Estate Planning: Who, What, Why & How,” “Unintended Consequences of TOD, POD and Other Beneficiary Designations,” and “Why Do I Need a Will,” among others. Active in her field, Ms. Orsak is a valuable member of several professional organizations such as the Victoria Area Estate Planning Council, College of the State Bar, the Victoria County Bar Association, and the Junior League of Victoria, Texas, Inc., among many others.
