Additionally, he secured a $1,090,000 verdict for a spinal surgery, where the pre-trial offer was $75,000.
For his excellent work as a legal professional, Mr. Restivo has been recognized with several awards and honors. He was selected by Super Lawyers as one of the top five percent of practicing attorneys and has been recognized multiple times by The New Yorker Magazine for achieving some of the state’s highest verdicts. Mr. Restivo is also a member of multiple professional organizations, including the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. He attributes his professional success to his innate desire to help others.
Since beginning his legal career, Mr. Restivo has worked for plaintiffs firms, insurance companies, and the New York City Law Department. He advises aspiring lawyers to speak with as many successful people as possible and to be hardworking students of the law. For personal injury law, he believes that understanding how and why the clients’ injuries and losses affect them is vital. In the coming years, Mr. Restivo plans to continue working in his legal practice, fighting for just and fair outcomes for his clients, and helping people who are in need.
