Inspired by the criminal defense attorney TV show “Matlock,” which Ms. Hoehing enjoyed watching as a child with her mother, she first pursued her own career in law at Temple University. Earning a BBA, magna cum laude, in business, marketing and related support services from the institution’s Fox School of Business and Management in 2001, helped paved the way for her future. She continued her academic advances at Widener University, receiving a JD in 2004. Not long after, Ms. Hoehing became a certified civil trial attorney with the Supreme Court of New Jersey.

Ms. Hoehing spent the first decade of her career practicing defense work, including eight years at Geico. In 2018, she joined her current firm, Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen LLC. In this venture, she has remained committed to helping clients with their legal needs. These include cases concerning personal injury, work injury, construction injury, car accidents and nursing home negligence. Ms. Hoehing has successfully tried more than 100 jury trials throughout her career. In addition to this work, she helps prepare future generations of professionals as a speaker and teacher at the National Business Institute.

With her keen insight into legal matters, Ms. Hoehing has benefitted with her affiliation to the Camden County Bar Association, the Burlington County Bar Association and as a member with the New Jersey Association for Justice. She credits the success she has had in her career due to the support of her family and friends. In her spare time, Ms. Hoehing enjoys traveling with her two nephews and her niece.
