With more than five decades of experience, Mr. Googasian utilizes the best practices to attain successful and favorable results for his clients. At his firm, he remains committed to the legal profession by implementing 21st century tactics while staying true to old-fashion beliefs. From an early age, Mr. Googasian knew he wanted to be a lawyer, and was set on his path by first earning a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 1958. He continued his studies at the Northwestern University Law School, receiving a JD in 1961. Over the next two years, he gained quality experience as an assistant US attorney in the Eastern District of Michigan for the US Department of Justice. In 1964, he entered private practice, focusing his efforts on representing people with claims involving catastrophic injury or death.
In his career, Mr. Googasian served as the president of the State Bar of Michigan from 1992 to 1993, and the Oakland County Bar Association from 1985 to 1986. As a testament to his work, he has been a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the American College of Trial Lawyers and the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has received several awards and has been recognized for his work by Super Lawyers, appearing on the esteemed rating services’ lists for more than a decade. Mr. Googasian has built his firm to include his partners Tom Howlett, Craig Weber and Dean Googasian, who combined have more than 100 years of experience.
