An award-winning attorney regarded for his work in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Mr. Bunnell celebrates a career that spanned 47 years before his retirement in 2010. Driven by his desire to help others and impact their lives in positive way, he is known for his experience in substantive areas of the law, which includes a broad expertise in civil litigation. He began his career in 1963 as an associate for Nicholson, Howard & Brawner in Miami, FL. From there, he came to prominence as an associate, then partner, of Dean, Adams, George & Wood. After relocating to Fort Lauderdale in the early 1970s, Mr. Bunnell found success with Huebner, Shaw & Bunnell, P.A., until 1977, at which time he formed Bunnell, Woulfe, Kirschbeum, Keller, Gregoire. He successfully led the practice with his partners until his retirement. While there, he held a number of titles including director, president, counsel and civil circuit mediator. Outside of his professional work, Mr. Bunnell is involved in his community. Over the years he has sat on numerous boards and committees with the City of Fort Lauderdale, including its civil service board and its marine advisory board.

In recognition of his incredible work over nearly five decades, Mr. Bunnell was the recipient of an Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and a Who’s Who Lifetime Achievement Award.  In addition, he has maintained an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest peer honor within the legal community. Mr. Bunnell’s career was supported by his education and professional certifications. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and an LLB from the University of Florida, which he earned in 1960 and 1962 respectively. He is a certified mediator and is permitted to practice law in the state of Florida, as well as in front of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the Supreme Court of the United States and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
