With more than 45 years of professional experience, Mr. Lutz has been a shareholder and the director of Fairfield and Woods, PC, since 2002. Prior to obtaining his current roles, he was a partner with LeBeouf, Lamb, Greene, and MacRae, LLP from 1995 to 2001, having been of counsel with the firm since 1993. She previously served as a partner with Kelly Stanfield and O’Donnell and Boettcher and Company from 1987 to 1988, where he was previously general counsel and general partner from 1978 to 1987.

From 1977 to 1978, Mr. Lutz was an attorney with Kelly, Stansfield and O’Donnell, having been a special attorney in organized crime with the US Department of Justice for the Southern District of New York. Earlier in his career, he was a trial attorney with the US Securities and Exchange Commission Denver regional office from 1971 to 1974. Mr. Lutz began his career as a student at Brown University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 1965. He then joined the University of Denver, earning a Juris Doctor in 1971. He has been admitted to practice in the states of Colorado and New York and the District of Columbia, as well as before the United State District Courts for the District of Colorado, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Northern District of California, the United States Tax Court, the United States Supreme Court, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Ninth, and Tenth Circuits.
