A member of the Utah State Bar, he is a past president of the Utah Association for Justice and the Utah State Bar Foundation, and he is past chair of the Utah State Bar Fee Arbitration Committee and the Utah State Bar Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee.
Throughout his career, Mr. Sullivan has been recognized for his contributions. The recipient of the Avvo Clients’ Choice Award, Martindale Hubbell awarded him the AV Preeminent Award, and he was named among Utah’s Legal Elite. Additionally, he has served as a board member of the YMCA. Mr. Sullivan attributes his success to luck and treating people how he would like to be treated.
The highlight of Mr. Sullivan’s career was receiving an award from the Utah Supreme Court for work completed on the Committee for Access to Justice. Throughout Mr. Sullivan’s career he has worked with an intelligent and talented legislative body that has been very helpful to the people of Utah, including removing statutory exclusions in auto insurance coverage, clarifying provisions in the Utah governmental immunity statute, and increasing statutory caps on dram shop law. He supports lobbyists, testifies in different committees and is supportive in passing legislature that were positive for the people in Utah. In five years, Mr. Sullivan intends to continue to grow in the field, providing quality representation for his clients.
