Ronald L. M. Goldman, Attorney, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in accidental, liability, personal injury and wrongful death law.
Mr. Goldman was drawn to law because it enabled him to work in an area where he could address wrongs. In his career spanning more than 56 years, he has worked as an attorney, educator and executive and currently serves as a shareholder of Baum Hedlund Aristei Goldman and president of RLMG, ALC. He worked as an adjunct professor of law at Pepperdine University from 1968 to 1989 and has also been a guest lecturer at the Madrid Law Conference, the Manila Law Conference, the New York Law Conference, the Christchurch Polytechnic School of Broadcasting and the Shanghai School of Social Sciences among other institutions. One of the highlights of his career was his work on the British Airways crash in 1976, where he participated with British barristers and one other American lawyer, Lee Krangler. It was this case the changed the applicable law on whether foreign citizens would be able to sue in the United States.
In order to provide his legal services, Mr. Goldman first earned a BSL from the University of Southern California in 1960. He continued at the institution to receive a JD in 1962. In recognition of his work, he has an AVVO Superb Score of 10 out of 10 and is a 5.0 AV Peer Review Rated attorney. Furthermore, he has been ranked among the Best Lawyers in America by Martindale-Hubbell and among the Nation’s Top One Percent from the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. Mr. Goldman has also maintained professional affiliation with the State Bar of California, the American Bar Foundation, the Forum on Air and Space Law and the International Bar Association among many other institutions. Mr. Goldman is also known for being a founder and general counsel for The Women’s Clinic, a free clinic providing health care needs to underprivileged women in Los Angeles.
