Frederick Arthur Muller, JD, State Reporter at the State of New York, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the legal industry.

Drawing upon five decades of experience, Mr. Muller is a prominent legal professional who has been serving the State of New York as a state reporter since 1990, having previously been a deputy state reporter from 1982 to 1990. Overseeing the editing and official publication of all New York State court opinions, he selects which trial and lower court opinions will be published. Notably, his biography as the 23rd New York State reporter and career have been included in the official New York State archives. Prior to these illustrious roles, he served the New York State Court of Appeals in multiple positions, such as consultation clerk and senior law clerk to the judge. He also briefly served as an associate of Hodgson, Russ, Andrews, Woods & Goodyear for three years.

Mr. Muller holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rochester and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Chicago. He has subsequently been admitted to practice law in New York and Illinois, as well as before the U.S. Court of Military Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York. He has maintained membership with the American Bar Association Judicial Opinion Writing Manual Committee since 1987.

Honored in “Celebrating over 200 Years of New York State Court Reporting” in 2004, Mr. Muller has remained a prestigious figure in his industry, having formerly been influenced by his father, who was an attorney in the 1930s. As a testament to his success, Mr. Muller has been highlighted in several editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the East and Who’s Who in the World.
