Harvey G. Sherzer, Esq., Senior Counsel at Blank Rome LLP, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in litigation, government and international contracts.
Growing up, Mr. Sherzer already had a strong sense of belief in America and the American system of law. He was further mentored in legal practice by the father of government contract, Gilbert A. Cuneo, and the chief judge of the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Hon. Wilson Cowen, for whom he clerked for. Since 2016, he has utilized this passion for law as senior counsel of Blank Rome LLP. He had previously worked at Dickstein Shapiro LLP, as a senior counsel and partner, and partner at Greenberg Traurig and Howrey & Simon. Earlier in his career, Mr. Sherzer was a partner at Pettit & Martin, McKenna, Conner & Cuneo, and Sellers, Conner & Cuneo. He started as an associate at Sellers, Conner & Cuneo and as a law clerk to the chief judge of the US Court of Appeals for Federal Circuit.
Mr. Sherzer set on his path to become a lawyer by first earning a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University in 1965. He continued at George Washington University, receiving a JD with honors, in 1968. In 1970, he was admitted to the District of Columbia, the US District Court, the US Court of Federal Claims and the Federal Circuit of the US Court of Appeals. In 1974, Mr. Sherzer was admitted to practice with the US Supreme Court. On top of his legal career, he was the writer and co-producer of 2005’s “Kupishok: For Eternal Memory,” and has also co-authored, “A Complete Guide to the Department of Defense Voluntary Disclosure Program.”
