Richard Reminger, Retired Lawyer, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of law.
Passionate to succeed, excel and to do whatever he does well, Mr. Reminger is the founder of Reminger Attorneys at Law, a firm with offices in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, considering this the highlight of his career. He has been the managing partner for the firm from 1958 to 1992 and as well as has been the personnel and safety director for Motor Express, Inc., in Cleveland from 1954 to 1958. Inspired by his family’s background, Mr. Reminger earned a Bachelor of Arts from Case Western Reserve University in 1953 and a Juris Doctor from Cleveland State University in 1957. He has been admitted to practice law for the Supreme Court of the United States since 1961 and the states of Pennsylvania since 1978 and Ohio since 1957. Additionally, he has been a part of the Air Corps with the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1950 to 1958. Invested in fostering the education of a new generation of law scholars, Mr. Reminger has lent his time and talents as a lecturer for multiple institutions, serving as a faculty member for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy in 1992. He has spread his knowledge overseas, lecturing for the University of Wirtschaft at Schloss Gracht, Erftstadt-Liblar from 1990 to 1991 and for the Bar Association of the City of Hamburg in 1990, both in Germany. He has been a member of the advisory board for the national claims council of the Commercial Union Assurance Company from 1980 to 1990, a lecturer on business law for Case Western Reserve University from 1962 to 1964 and a lecturer on transportation law for Fenn College (Now Cleveland State University) from 1960 to 1962.
In addition to his main career, Mr. Reminger has pursued other interests. He has been affiliated with the Intracoastal Health Systems of Palm Beach, FL, from 1992 to 2000 and has been trustee for the Cleveland School for the Blind from 1987 to 1988, the Andrew School from 1984 to 1996 and the Cerebral Palsy Association from 1984 to 1987. He currently holds membership with numerous esteemed organizations including, but not limited to, the International Insurance Law Society, the American College of Legal Medicine, the Maritime Law Association of the United States, the Bohemian Club of San Francisco and the Everglades Club. He is also an accomplished landscape, seascape and portrait artist, creating representative works in oil since 1965 and exhibiting his work in at least 142 exhibits throughout the U.S. and Europe, including having his work featured in four permanent collections. Due to his immense talent as an oil painter, he is a member of Oil Painters of America, The Society of the Four Arts, the Portrait Society of America and the International Society of Marine Painters. Mr. Reminger has been recognized for his influence as a man of success, having been nominated for the Distinguished Alumni Award from Case Western Reserve University in 2017 and receiving the Man of the Year award from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law of Cleveland State University in 1989. His notoriety has earned him features in multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the Midwest, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.
