As a veteran attorney with over 40 years of professional experience, Mr. Ronald Weiss has enjoyed a long and distinguished career. Since the very beginning of his career in 1972, he has been with Bulkley, Richardson and Gelinas, LLP, and in 1978 he was named partner. Mr. Weiss has also served as president of the Hampden County Estate Planning Council from 1979 to 1981, and as trustee of Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education Inc. from 1978 to 1981.
Mr. Weiss began his education at Dartmouth College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1968. He continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a JD in 1972. In addition to all the work he’s done at Bulkley, Richardson and Gelinas, Mr. Weiss has always been very active in his community. He currently serves as trustee and general counsel of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, corporator for Springfield Museums, and trustee of the Jewish Endowment Foundation of Western Massachusetts. Mr. Weiss is a founder of the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, which he considers to be one of his greatest career achievements, and in 1992 he co-founded the University of Massachusetts Family Business Center.
