Amassing nearly six decades of professional experience, Mr. Ringer is a seasoned attorney who has been working in a private practice since 1960. Focusing his practice on personal injury, estate planning, probate litigation, real estate and commercial transactions, corporations and limited liability companies, and elder law, among other areas, he has tried jury trails in civil and criminal cases throughout Southern Missouri as well as argued cases in the appellate courts of Missouri. Alongside this appointment, he has been a senior counsel with The Missouri Bar since 2010, a state and federal mediator in the State of Missouri since 2004, and a senior judge in the State of Missouri since 1999.

In addition to his primary endeavors, Mr. Ringer has been general counsel for the board of directors of the Regional Healthcare Foundation since 1999, a deacon emeritus at the First Baptist Church since 2015, a children’s reader at the Dexter Public Library since 2010, a bylaws committee member at the First Baptist Church since 1984, and a Sunday School teacher since 1981, among other roles. He is the former president of Dexter Memorial Hospital, a role he maintained from 1964 to 1989.

To prepare for his illustrious career, Mr. Ringer pursued a formal education at William Jewell College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 1958. He subsequently earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Missouri School of Law in 1960. In addition, he has completed coursework in civil mediation at the university. He has since been admitted by the Missouri Bar, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and the United States Tax Court.

In recognition of his exceptional contributions to the legal industry and his community, Mr. Ringer was named Citizen of the Year by the Dexter Chamber of Commerce in 2016 and Friend of the Year by Dexter Public Library in 2013. Likewise, he won the Excellence in Government Award from the Missouri Hospital Association in 1995 and the Community Leadership Award from the Dexter Chamber of Commerce in 1964. He has further been honored with several other awards from the Dexter Memorial Hospital and the Regional Healthcare Foundation. Notably, Mr. Ringer was selected for inclusion in several editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the Midwest and Who’s Who in the World.
