James A. Rosenstein, Of Counsel at Fineman Krekstein & Harris, PC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in real estate law.
Amassing 50 years of professional excellence in the legal industry, Mr. Rosenstein is a celebrated attorney who has been serving of counsel at Fineman Krekstein & Harris, PC, since 2009. In his position, he focuses his practice on alternative dispute resolutions and real estate law, advising clients regarding their mediations of complex multi-party commercial disputes involving governmental bodies, non-profits and for-profits. He also acts as a mediator and facilitator in these matters. In addition to his role with the firm, he has also been holding the role of principal at Rosenstein Associates since 1997.
Prior to these appointments, Mr. Rosenstein was an associate and partner at Wolf, Block, Schorr & Solis-Cohen between 1968 and 1997, where he worked as a transactional lawyer regarding complex real estate projects, including the development of planned communities, multi-use properties and affordable housing. Alongside his current ventures, he chairs the government and public policy subcommittee of the S.R. 160 advisory committee to the Joint State Government Commission and is a board member of the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators. In addition, he was the former first president of the Greater Delaware chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution, co-chair of the alternative dispute resolution committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and co-chair of the commercial sector of the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution.
To prepare for his illustrious career, Mr. Rosenstein pursued an education at Harvard University, earning a Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1961 and 1968, respectively. He has since been admitted to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania. In recognition of his exceptional contributions to the legal industry, Mr. Rosenstein has accrued several accolades during the course of his career, including the Presidential Award from the Association for Conflict Resolution in 2007, the Distinguished Service Award and the Sir Francis Bacon Alternative Dispute Resolution Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association in 1993 and 2010, respectively, and the Most Valuable Peacemaker Award from the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators in 2007, among others. In addition, he was selected for inclusion in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers from 2004 to 2009 and has been given an AV Rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
