C. Peter Theut, founder and CEO of China Bridge and cofounder and CEO of Global Bridges Network, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in international consulting.
With more than 50 years of professional experience, Mr. Theut has served as the founder and CEO of China Bridge and as the cofounder and CEO of the Global Bridges Network since 2013. Prior to helping establish these organizations, he was a partner with Butzel Long from 1988 to 2013, with Hill Lewis from 1980 to 1988, with Theut & Schellig from 1972 to 1980, and with Foster, Meadows & Ballard from 1968 to 1972. Earlier in his career, Mr. Theut was an associate with Overton, Lyman & Prince from 1963 to 1967.
Mr. Theut began his career as a student at the University of Michigan, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in 1960 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1963. He has been admitted to practice in the states of Michigan and California, as well as in before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan and the Southern District of Ohio. For his achievement in the field, Mr. Theut has been named a Michigan Super Lawyers, and the Marine Lenders Industry gave him a William B. Auto Industry Service Award for Outstanding Contributions.
