Title: Founding Partner
Company: The Morris Law Group
Location: Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
William Morris, Founding Partner at the Morris Law Group, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Civil Litigation and Personal Injury Law.
With nearly 60 years of professional experience, Mr. Morris has served as the founding partner of the Morris Law Group since 1960. In this role, he leads the firm in championing the rights of injured people, winning complex and challenging personal injury cases. Recognized as a pioneer and innovator in the field, his firm was the first in Ontario to hire a full-time occupational therapist and registered nurse to provide medical advice and support for clients, and he created a second company, Accident Benefits Consultants, to provide that assistance.
Mr. Morris was driven to pursue a career in the field by a desire to help the less fortunate, and was further inspired by his late mother. He began his career by earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence from York University, and is certified as a specialist in civil litigation. Attributing his success for his empathy toward his clients, Mr. Morris has served as the president of the Hamilton Law Association, the Hamilton Medical-Legal Society, the Hamilton Jewish Federation, and B’nai B’rith Canada. For his contributions, he received the Emelius Irving Award from the Hamilton Law Association in 2006.
