Wayne L. Ellenbogen, Partner and Owner at Otterstedt, Ellenbogen, & Kammer, LLP, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in intellectual property law.
A lawyer focused on intellectual property, Mr. Ellenbogen prides himself on providing quality service and efficient solutions to his clients. He has been in the business for more than 20 years, steadily garnering a reputation for excellence amongst both his peers and community. Mr. Ellenbogen currently works with Otterstedt, Ellenbogen, & Kammer, LLP, where he has been a partner and owner since 2010. He credits word-of-mouth recommendations for the firm’s continued growth.
Mr. Ellenbogen’s academic qualifications include a Master of Science in electrical engineering from the New York University Tandon School of Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering from Clarkson University, and a JD in law from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro College. He is admitted to practice in New York.
Although Mr. Ellenbogen loves the legal profession, he was initially an electrical engineer, and held related positions for companies like Hazeltine Corporation (now BAE Systems), Standard Microsystems Corporation, and Telephonics Corporation. Over the years, he became increasingly more interested in the legal side of the spectrum, bolstered by the influence of his grandfather, who was an attorney. Mr. Ellenbogen proceeded to acquire hands-on experience as an associate attorney with Hoffman & Baron, LLP, as a staff attorney in intellectual law at the T.J. Watson Research Center at IBM, and as a partner with Ryan, Mason & Lewis, LLP. His engineering background gave him a more in-depth understanding of inventions and patents than his competition, which impressed his clients.
