Thomas J. Bayles, JD, MBA, Partner at JensenBayles, LLP, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in estate planning.
An AV Preeminent Attorney, Mr. Bayles is noted for his focus on estate planning. For more than 10 years, he has served as a partner with JensenBayles, LLP. Based in St. George, UT, the firm provides estate planning, litigation, and construction services, as well as many other areas of practice.
A respected voice in the legal community, Mr. Bayles has held numerous speaking engagements, in addition to publishing articles in professional journals. He currently serves as a board member of the DOVE Center, and as a member of the Estate Planning Section with the Utah State Bar. For the past 20 years, Mr. Bayles has maintained involvement with the Southern Utah Bar Association. He has been recognized as a member of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils since 2017.
Mr. Bayles pursued a career in law due to the influence of his father, who worked as a lawyer. Upon completing a Bachelor of Arts through Weber State University in 1993, he attended Washburn University, where he received an MBA from the School of Business in 1994 and a JD from the School of Law in 1997, and he received a Tax Proficiency Certificate from the Washburn University School of Law. Prior to becoming a partner with JensenBayles, LLP, in 2003, Mr. Bayles served as an associate attorney with Snow Jensen and Reece, P.C., for five years. In addition to his focus on estate planning, he has also provided assistance with real estate and business transactions.
In recognition of his contributions to the legal community, Mr. Bayles was named among Utah’s Legal Elite, as voted by his peers. He was previously selected to receive an Award in Economics from The Wall Street Journal in 1992.
