Nickolas E. Nasuta, Owner of the Law Office of Nickolas E. Nasuta, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in law.
Having grown up in a blue collar family, Mr. Nasuta was driven to break the mold and pursue a college degree. His goal was to accrue a variety of marketable skills to ensure that he would always have professional options. After careful consideration, he elected to pursue an education in Finance and Law. In 1962 Mr. Nasuta initially achieved his goal by earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics from St. Peter’s College. He then worked in a variety of positions, in the Chief of the Counsel’s Office and Interpretative of the Internal Revenue Service while completing his second degree, a Juris Doctor from American University. Mr. Nasuta is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Bergen Bar Association and the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
With his educational journey complete, Mr. Nasuta set out to make his mark as a professional in the field. He served as the Personal Judicial Clerk to Honorable Charles Paulis, Chief Presiding Judge of Warren County, NJ, in 1968, and as a Trust Officer at United Jersey Bank from 1968 to 1972. During this time, he also garnered experience as being a Senior Trust Officer at the Peoples Trust Company and as Associate Counsel at the Robert Inglima, Esq., Law Firm. Mr. Nasuta then utilized these backgrounds and credentials to open his own firm, the Law Office of Nickolas E. Nasuta, Esq., in 1974, and he has been in private practice of Law ever since. In his role as both the Owner and Attorney, his responsibilities include but are not limited to providing a wide array of Legal Services in areas such as Finance, Inheritances, Wills and Estates, Trusts, Probate, Real Estate, and related areas. He also provides ethical and efficient legal representation in the formation of sales of businesses and related matters. The nature of his practice and representation of personal and corporate clients has afforded him an expertise in business transactions and financing, and the practices and procedures necessary. The other part of Mr. Nasuta’s law practice includes representing his clients in personal and business matters, Taxes related to Preservation of Assets and Testamentary Planning, Elder Law, Living Wills, Trusts – both Revocable and Irrevocable, Powers of Attorney, and Advanced Medical Directives, Letters of Intent and the addressing of Digital Assets.
He is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, and before the United States District Court of New Jersey and the United States Tax Court.
The highlight of Mr. Nasuta’s career has been having the opportunity to help people, whether it is personally, financially, or socially. He is also proud of achievements such as receiving special recognition from the United States Olympic Committee for supporting American Olympic Athletes and receiving an invitation to be a guest to a reception given by Queen Elizabeth on board of HMY Britannia. For his efforts, Mr. Nasuta was featured among the American Registry’s Top 10% of America’s Most Honored Professionals, earned a Certificate of Appreciation for services rendered in connection with the settlement conference committee by the State of New Jersey, and has maintained a high rating on Martindale-Hubbell. Looking to the future, Mr. Nasuta intends to c continue attending to his clients and being actively involved in the profession.
