LeeAnn Massucci, Principal of Massucci Law Group, LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in family and domestic law.
In her younger years, Ms. Massucci never imagined becoming an attorney, but after serving for 13 years as the Head Women’s Tennis Coach at The Ohio State University and owning a coffeehouse/bar for an additional five years, she developed an interest in the field, knowing it could give her a greater involvement and opportunity to serve her community. She entered law school at 39 years old, earning a JD from Capital University Law School in 2002. In the intervening years, Ms. Massucci has become a recognizable and highly sought after attorney in family and domestic law. In addition, she serves as an adjunct professor at Capital University Law School. In 2016, she founded Massucci Law Group, LLC.
Not long after graduating, Ms. Massucci was recognized for her contributions to the field of law. She received the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Female Graduate from Capital University Law School in 2003. She was then named a Barrister Leadership Graduate from the Columbus Bar Association in 2005. In 2008, she was named a Lambda Legal’s National Pro Bono Advocate Honoree. A year later, the Columbus Bar Foundation recognized her as an Outstanding Individual in Pro Bono Service. In the most recent years, Ohio Super Lawyer has acknowledged her as a Rising Star and as one of the Top 25 Female Attorneys in Columbus.
Ms. Massucci attributes her success to her mentors and putting in hard work. She is a founding member of the United Way PRIDE Council, the National LGBT Bar Association, and of the United Way of Central Ohio Women’s Leadership Council. Furthermore, she maintains professional affiliation with the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, Franklin County Women Lawyers, and the National Center for Lesbian Rights. In addition to her law degree, she holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama and a Master of Education from the Ohio State University.
