Gary H. Miller, Lawyer at Gary H. Miller, Attorney-at-Law, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in law.
Backed by more than three decades of professional excellence, Mr. Miller is thriving at the head of his eponymous practice. He mostly focuses on business and transnational work, with a lot of buying and selling businesses and forming LLCs and corporations. He also has experience with secured lending, wills and estates, and corporate, contract, land-use, and transactional law. Mr. Miller is particularly proud of his work on a casino in New Orleans, where he handled everything from the zoning to the financing and negotiated the largest title policy written to that date. The whole transaction took two years, and was an extremely significant achievement in his career. Prior to this, Mr. Miller held positions as a counsel and shareholder of Lugenbuhl, Wheaton, Peck, Rankin & Hubbard, a partner and associate of Jones Walker, LLP, and the author of a variety of publications like “Keys to Success in a Real Estate Transaction in Louisiana,” and “Law of Easements: Legal Issues and Practical Considerations.” He is admitted to the North Carolina and Louisiana state bars and holds a JD from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from New England College.
In recognition of Mr. Miller’s hard work and success, he was honored as the client’s choice and with an AV Preeminent Peer Rating by Lawyers.com, as one of America’s Top Lawyers by the American Law Society, and as one of the Top Lawyers in North America and North Carolina. He was also one of America’s Most Honored Professionals in 2016, a Pinnacle Professional in the Field of Legal Services through the Continental Who’s Who Registry of National Business Leaders in 2013, and the recipient of numerous awards from Avvo.com between 2013 and 2015. Mr. Miller considers the highlight of his journey to be earning the Martindale-Hubbell AV peer-rated ranking for 20 years. This meant more than anything to him, as it is a result of anonymous solicitations from peers.
