Theodore Calvin Taub, Retired Attorney at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Complex Civil Litigation and Real Estate.
Mr. Taub retired in 2012 from his position after a stellar career in Florida, notably serving as a city attorney of Temple Terrace from 1974 to 2007 and on several commissions and committees for the state of Florida. He is a lecturer and author of over 100 articles for legal literature, and named one of the Super Lawyers in Florida, one of the Best Lawyers in America, and to the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. Mr. Taub is a Marquis Who’s Who Industry Expert and a recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award.
An alumnus of Duke University, Mr. Taub earned an AB in 1956 and a JD from the University of Florida in 1960. He is a former chairman of the Committee on Housing and Urban Environmental as well as the Real Property Litigation Committee of the American Bar Foundation, where he held the title of fellow. He also held a seat on the board of governors of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and was president of the Florida Jaycees as well as legal counsel of the U.S. Jaycees.
