Alan Leigh Armstrong, Esq., Attorney at Law Office of Alan Leigh Armstrong, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Law.
Inspired by his mother’s involvement with the Republican Party, Mr. Armstrong’s pursuit of the profession of law resulted in his involvement with Junior Statesmen and local politics in high school, and ultimately to the founding of his practice in 1985. His specialties are in wills, trusts, estate planning, probates, conservatorships, and bankruptcies. Mr. Armstrong has also been teaching as an adjunct professor of law at Trinity Law School since 1992, and his students coming back to him for advice, assistance, or just to express their thanks has been one of the greatest highlights of his career.
Mr. Armstrong is an alumnus of the University of California, Riverside, and earned a JD from Western State University in 1984. He is admitted to practice in California, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Central Districts of California. Before entering the law, Mr. Armstrong was a physicist with the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1974, and continued to be an engineer with the U.S. Navy in California from 1974 to 1993.
A recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, Mr. Armstrong has appeared in the pages of Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in American Law. He is a member of the Christian Legal Society, the American Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, and the Orange County Council of Estates Planners. Mr. Armstrong has also been active in his local community as a member of the Huntington Beach Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service, as well as an active participant with the Boy Scouts of America. He is a former vestryman of the St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church, and currently a lay reader of St. James Church.
