Jack A. Rounick, Esquire, of the Law Offices Jack A. Rounick LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Law.
Since 2012, Mr. Rounick has maintained his own law office offering his expertise of 58 years practicing law. He is the author of six volumes of “Pennsylvania Matrimonial Practice,” founding editor of Pennsylvania Family Lawyer from 1980 to 1987, and named one of the 2005 Top 100 Attorneys by Worth Magazine. Mr. Rounick is a Marquis Who’s Who Industry Expert and recipient of the Marquis Who’s Who Humanitarian Award as well as the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, featured in Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the East, and Who’s Who in the World. Mr. Rounick was recently selected as Top Attorney of the Year 2018 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).
An alumnus of the University of Michigan, Mr. Rounick earned a BBA in 1956 and went on to a JD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1959. He is admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as a diplomate of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers. Mr. Rounick was a partner in the Law Offices of Israelit & Rounick from 1960 to 1967, and continually worked in the legal field, most recently as Of Counsel at the law offices of Flamm, Boroff & Bacine, PC, before opening his own offices in 2012. He has been on the board of editors for Family Advocate, and received a 2009 Eric Turner Award in the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Rounick has also received a 1970 Boss of the Year Award from the Montgomery County Legal Secretaries Association, a Certificate of Appreciation from the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in 1980, and a Special Achievement Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Outside of the law office, Mr. Rounick has led the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Friends of the Hebrew University as a former chairman and the Pennsylvania Young Republicans in a variety of roles. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, where he was a vice president and former governor. Mr. Rounick has supported numerous other industry societies, including the American Bar Association and the Montgomery Bar Association.
