Sarah White, Lawyer at Westmoreland, Patterson, Moseley, & Hinson, LLP, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Law.
Ms. White was recently named a 2017 Rising Star for Excellence in Practice with Super Lawyers Magazine and an AV rated attorney with Martindale-Hubbell, the latest in a string of honors that started when she joined Westmoreland, Patterson, Moseley, & Hinson in 2011. She also holds an advanced legal writing certificate from her alma mater, the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, and was recognized with a 2012 to 2013 Award of Achievement for Outstanding Service to the Public by the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia. Ms. White is a Marquis Who’s Who Industry Expert, and a recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and the Marquis Who’s Who Humanitarian Award.
An alumna of the University of Georgia, Ms. White holds a BA, magna cum laude, in political science with a minor in agribusiness. She earned a JD from the Walter F. George School of Law in 2005, and was admitted to practice in the state of Georgia. Since then, Ms. White has been admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Georgia, as well as the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
In addition to her recent accolades, Ms. White is a member of the Order of the Barristers, and has won a 2015 Client Distinction Award as well as a 2016 Rising Star for Excellence in Practice from Super Lawyers Magazine. Ms. White is a native of Douglas, Georgia, and specializes in social security and disability law, including aspects for adults, children, widows, and widowers. She has been known to shepherd clients through all stages of the adjudicative process, from administrative to appellate levels, including Federal District Court appeals. Ms. White spent five years practicing insurance litigation, and remains active in the Macon Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia as a member of the board of directors.
